For the kids!
Remember candy cigarettes? Such a product of the 70s. I don’t know what would be considered most offensive now, that they were teaching kids to smoke or the fact that they were essentially just solid sticks of sugar.
But just when I thought the whole concept was a thing of the past, I stumbled upon these the other day in an Internet rental store in Kings Cross:
Little chocolate sticks packaged in a cigarette box.
And there were tons of themes to choose from:
Is it worth noting they are made in France?

Very funny! And you say he’s only 10? His blog seems much older! Blogs are clearly great for writing and thinking. Oh yeah, and they make you cool.

Hey, we had those in India, too, but they were called Phantom cigarettes and had a really silly two-toned picture of the Phantom on the pack, in black and red. I think they got sued, though, since they hadn’t licensed the Phantom trademark from the comic-book guys…
