One is Silver, the Other Gold
Gavin found a new patch of Sydney bloggers who all met at the Art House last Wednesday night. Lots of people from the fashion and tech industries.
It was a different experience to chat with people over a glass of bubbly. And it started off a bit too loud to really talk. But then we found a second group seated upstairs (spotted by the “Will Blog for Beer” laptop) and nestled in for some good nattering:
Which explains the new face at coffee morning on Friday. Mercurius joined Katie (who’s back from Chicago!) and I at Single Origin for a cup of dark and lots of talk of politics. Good juicy politics too.
Will try again this Friday. Single Origin again? (a sneaky attempt to lure Stig out again).
[By the way, the title is from an old Girl Scouts song that I have stuck in my head for some reason. It goes, "Make new friends, but keep the old..."]

Sorry. I was only 20 metres away at Toast but in a deep and meaningful business discussion. Promise I still love Coffee Morning and will be there next week if busy-ness allows. And while I’m typing, public congrats to Katie on new job. Top company. And soooo close to Single Origin.

Perhaps we should make it a 7am meeting time… just kidding Gavin. See you Friday if you can make it. Cheers.
