Conformists Unite

I’m here in Hood River visiting my Dad and I found yet another new cafe. This one is based on bikes -with various interesting black and white photos including one of Italians lighting up cigarettes while racing.

And these stools. How great are these?:

They also had this cool new way of serving coffee called the drip bar where you can choose your preferred roast and they pour it for you personally:

Turns out my Dad has been a pioneer of this ‘hand crafted’ method for years…

…using the finest roast you can buy in a large tin can.
